With a harness-compatible build and precise articulation, this jacket is made to climb through any storm.
Updated to GORE-TEX PRO ePE, the Alpha Jacket features a new membrane that offers the highest-performing waterproof-breathable protection in an even lighter and more durable package—all while remaining free from intentionally added PFAS. A low-profile RECCO® reflector hidden in the hood brim improves your searchability in emergency situations. A new internal dump pocket makes stashing gloves easy, and the internal security pocket keeps valuables safe.
The new ePE membrane technology is lighter and thinner, but just as strong and durable as the materials we used before. You may notice the face fabric “wetting out” slightly faster in products with ePE membranes, but rest assured this does not affect the waterproofing of the membrane itself. If you notice the fabric wetting out faster than you’d like, simply wash the jacket and dry it to remove the oil contamination and bring the DWR back to its full power.
